inspired by the death of my grandmother and her journey to the afterlife after a series of strokes; in between simultaneously presents a comforting and haunting look at the experience of death. the mystery of life is represented through a trinity of visuals — the sculpture-screen itself, the video content, and the abstracted reflection of the projection on the wall behind it. in between is an exploration of our inevitable journey to death, a reflection upon a life lived, and a contemplation on whether a purpose for our existence ever truly comes into focus.
